Very cloudy, windy Friday down by the sea so I was lucky to find a native wildflower that was new to me. These tiny blossoms (about 10mm) are from a plant growing right on the beach in pure quartz sand right above the high tide line. The leaves are apparently edible and are also boiled and used to clean wounds. Boat-tailed Grackles were playing around them (which is probably not relevant at all ;-) Juno Beach, Florida.
