Sjablonen

Hallo Frank,

Geweldig, wat een hulp met alle sjablonen! Zou je ze misschien ook gelijk in een categorie willen zetten? Dan houden we het overzicht in welke sjablonen er al zijn en welke nog aangemaakt moeten worden. Dank! Ciell (talk) 21:17, 4 febrüari 2021 (UTC)

Even een kleine tip: ik wil zaterdag even overleggen welke mogelijkheden we allemaal hebben mbt sjablonen en Wikidata. Caribiana gaf inderdaad terecht aan dat templates als Template:Coor dms nodig zijn, maar misschien dat die data wel gewoon met een sjabloon uit Wikidata getrokken kan worden. Wel erg welkom zouden bijvoorbeeld een Sjabloon:Welkom, en de sjablonen over bronvermelding zijn, mocht je graag nog even verder knutselen. ;) Ciell (talk) 21:33, 4 febrüari 2021 (UTC)

Een welkomssjabloon zou je bv misschien af kunnen leiden uit het artikel Help:Kontenido...? Daar staat al een en ander aan basisinformatie. Hij hoeft niet zo ingewikkeld te zijn als op nl-wiki, ik dacht meer richting deze die we op de verenigingswiki van WMNL gebruiken. Ciell (talk) 21:35, 4 febrüari 2021 (UTC)

Ik antwoord even op alle vragen in één keer, maar in drie losse zinnen:

Oeh, een welkomsjabloon. Ik laat die liever over aan iemand die de taal wat beter spreekt.

Wat bronvermelding betreft: Ik had al {{Tradukshon for di otro Wikipedia}} gemaakt. Bedoel je die? Ik zie dat {{Cite web}} al bestaat, dus die zal je ook niet bedoelen.

Ik vind Wikidata geweldig en juist een wiki als deze waar echt niemand inwonertallen en dergelijke gaat bijwerken, en andere dingen die snel verouderen, lijkt het me een uitkomst. Ik heb op de Nederlandse wiki al nl:Sjabloon:Coor title gemaakt die het uit wikidata trekt, het lijkt mij alleen maar verstandig dat hier waar dat kan ook te doen.

Ik heb nog niet goed categorieën geplakt omdat een goede categorieboom ontbreekt. Daar moeten we het zaterdag maar even over hebben. --Frank Geerlings (talk) 00:39, 5 febrüari 2021 (UTC)

Noinclude tag mist ergens?

Hi Frank,

Kijkend naar de Category:Wikipedia templates vermoed ik dat er in een van de nieuwe sjablonen een template-categorie niet tussen de <noinlude> tags staat, want er staan nu artikelen uit de hoofdnaamruimte tussen. The WMF language team is reaching out to you based on your position as an admin in the Papiamento Wikipedia. In particular, we want to learn about your experience, the issues you encounter with articles created with Content translation.

We appreciate the great work you are doing in Papiamento Wikipedia to ensure standard and quality articles are not compromised. However, it is a big task to encounter content that is not standard daily, and a difficult decision to delete them because they fall below standard.

Our observations

We noticed that articles created with the Content Translation tool in your wiki are deleted more frequently than in other Wikipedias. We say this because, from our statistics, 117 articles were added to Papiamento Wikipedia in 2020. Out of the above figure, only 1 of them were translated using the Content Translation tool; 2 of the articles added with Content translation were deleted. Therefore, the deletion rate and the tool's low usage signals a problem or deficiencies peculiar to your Wikipedia. The Content Translation tool can increase content creation in your Wikipedia and is an excellent way to efficiently introduce newcomers to adding content and expand on existing ones.

Template:Inhoud abc

Hi Frank,

Ik heb dit sjabloon vanuit de nl-wp hierheen gehaald, en hij werkt (dus geen haast!) maar de sjabloon documentatie loopt nog vast op Template:Sjablooninfo. Zou jij daar eens naar willen kijken als je in de gelegenheid bent?

Dit liet even op zich wachten omdat ik in de vakantie niet bij een (voldoende grote) computer was. Ik zie dat een anonieme gebruiker het net voor je heeft geregeld toen ik nog niet ingelogd was. :) Omdat een redelijk aantal sjablonen al uit de engelstalige Wikipedia komen met een {{Documentation}}-sjabloon heb ik het daar naar omgebouwd, in plaats van het gebruiken van {{Sjablooninfo}}. Vertalen van de documentatie (ook van andere templates) heb ik nog even niet gedaan. --77.249.225.121 10:15, 22 ougùstùs 2021 (UTC)

How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. Bijeenkomst Wiki goes Caribbean 27-8-2022 in Nationaal Archief - kom je ook?

Beste Frank, op zaterdag 27 augustus organiseren we een workshop vakantiefoto's uploaden in het kader van Wiki goes Caribbean. Het is ook een mooi moment om elkaar weer eens in levende lijve te zien. Vanwege al je betrokkenheid bij de Papiamentstalige Wikipedia, wilde ik jou ook graag van harte uitnodigen. De bijeenkomst is van 13.00 tot 17.00.
