Nan no ta mesun kos! Papiamento/u ta un idioma ku dos ortografia, esta dos sistema di skibimentu. Nan ta:
- ortografia di Papiamento di Aruba (segun prinsipionan etimológiko)
- ortografia di papiamentu di Kòrsou i Boneiru (segun prinsipionan fonológiko). Mas informashon riba e reglanan aki por konsulta e 'buki di oro'. E buki ta kontene un deskripshon di e reglanan mas general, un lista di palabra i un lista di nòmber di pais i kontinente.
- Por usa ambos ortografia?
Den Wikipedia nos mester kooperá! Ambos ta permiti, basta ku mantene un solo estilo di ortografia pa kada artíkulo. Si bo traha un artíkulo nobo, usa bo mes ortografia. Por fabor no kambia e ortografia di un teksto eksistente.

G'day from Australia. I see you are active here on pap.wiki and are doing some great work. Keep it up :)
I am trying to find someone who can help to translate User:Russavia/Polandball into Papiamento. To encourage collaboration, I am uploading over a period of time dozens of "Dutch Caribbean" aviation images to Commons, which you can see at User:Russavia#Aviation_photos, which I hope will also encourage further development of related articles on Papiamento Wikipedia.

- I won't be able to do it immediately because of school, but I'll work hard to be able to translate the article as soon as possible! Sadly :I don't know of anyone else that also uses pap.wiki as an editor, there aren't many people active here. I'm very grateful for your interest :in expanding the Papiamento Wikipedia. It is crucial that more articles are published in Papiamento, as I stated before, there aren't many :people active. I'm very humbled by your interest and grateful for this opportunity.

- G'day User:Monicaua, thank you for your kindness in being to help translate the article into Papiamento. Feel free to do the translation in my userspace if you wish, and we can move it into mainspace at the relevant time.
- You are right, there aren't many Papiamento editors here. It's a shame I must admit. With only 260,000 speakers, I can understand the general lack of editors on pap.wp. The biggest challenge would be getting connected with likeminded individuals who speak the language. In your case of Aruba (going by your userpage), you might be in luck.
- Aruba is participating in the 2014 edition of Wiki Loves Monuments which is being organised by Stichting Monumentenfonds Aruba. They also have a Facebook page. Although this is a Wikimedian-organised photography events which sees Commons receiving the files, the photographs will surely benefit all projects, including Papiamento Wikipedia. You may like to get involved in the WLM competition, it might be a nice way to network with local Arubans and perhaps recruit some for this project :)

- I apologize for not having replied in almost a month, I was horribly busy with school. I have started translating your article, but I came across something strange and I thought I should ask you about it.
- I saw your userpage and I found that you had been banned from editing on Wikipedia. I am not going to judge you in anyway, although I am quite curious about why you were banned. I simply would like to confirm that I have no reason to mistrust you, as I became a little suspicious once I found out.
- Please do not take this in a bad way, I merely mean to be completely honest with you and not let any suspicion ruin our collaboration.
- Hi Monicaua, sorry for the delay in responding. I was just going through my email and saw the notification from September there.
- Please don't apologise for any delays, your schooling is more important than some silly article on Polandball :)
- It is true that I am currently banned from editing on English Wikipedia. I was banned because I was writing an article on en:Pricasso and I contacted the artist and asked him if he could do a painting of Jimmy Wales. My reasoning for asking for a painting of Jimmy is quite an involved thought process (copyright, derivative works, licencing, etc). Long story short, there was a fabrication put together of me being in dispute with Jimmy (untrue) and I was banned because he didn't like it. Since then, I have been vocal on things within the Wikimedia movement and pointing out double standards and hypocrisy by those on "the inside" and my request to be unblocked was rejected. Let's call it wiki-politics (yes, Wikipedia has politics).
- All in all, I'm not too fussed about being blocked, I still contribute to the project, but my time is mainly spent on Commons and other Wikipedia projects (such as this one).
- There's no reason for distrust. The article you are so kindly helping with is the same as sv:Polandball (Swedish Wikipedia) and it is (at the time of writing) featured on the front page of Swedish Wikipedia. :)
- I hope you will still be able to collaborate on this small project with me, and I hope to be able to collaborate with you further, or at the very least be available to help you with any issues that you may have here on pap.wp. Being a small project, there isn't really an active community for you to turn to for help.
